Sadness as elderly woman dies in A16 crash

A woman in her 80s has sadly died following a two-vehicle collision on the A16.

Emergency services were called to the Grainsby area at around 2.30PM yesterday, Thursday 13 November, following reports of a collision involving a green Mazda and a silver Renault Clio. The driver of the latter sadly lost her life in the incident. 

Emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, were called to the scene and the road was closed for several hours. 

Investigations are now underway. Police are appealing for anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
