The Christmas tree outside St Peter’s Church in Cleethorpes has now been installed and is being decorated ahead of its big switch-on this week.
The lights will be switched on during a festive celebration outside the church from 5pm on Friday, 28 November. Last year’s event featured performances from local entertainers and musicians, and a similar line-up is expected this time, with Discover North East Lincolnshire hinting at appearances from singers, performers and pantomime characters.
The tree is due to be lit at around 6.15pm.
A Christmas market is also taking place inside St Peter’s Church Hall alongside the outdoor festivities.
