North East Lincolnshire Council has released CCTV images as it seeks to identify two people caught fly-tipping outside a Grimsby recycling centre.
The incident happened shortly after 8pm on Wednesday 26 November, outside the Community Recycling Centre on Gilbey Road. CCTV footage shows two individuals dumping a number of items, including a child’s car seat and wooden chairs, from a Mercedes Vito van.
The council is now appealing to the public for help in identifying those involved, as well as the vehicle used.
A council spokesperson warned that fly-tipping costs thousands of pounds to deal with each year and said anyone found responsible could face legal action, including substantial fines.
Anyone who recognises the individuals or the vehicle pictured is asked to contact North East Lincolnshire Council via email or on 01472 326299, selecting option one.
