A man has been arrested on suspicion of non-fatal strangulation following an incident in Cleethorpes.
Police were called to Newbold Street at around 2.30pm on Tuesday 23 December, after a man climbed onto the roof of a property in an apparent attempt to evade arrest.
Officers cordoned off the area to ensure public safety while emergency services dealt with the situation. A 32-year-old man was subsequently arrested and taken into police custody. The cordon has since been lifted.
Police said there will be an increased presence in the area over the coming days as enquiries continue, and anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to officers patrolling the neighbourhood.
