Teenager in critical condition after e-bike crash in Cleethorpes

A teenage boy has been left with life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle e-bike collision in Cleethorpes.

Emergency services were called to Kings Road on Tuesday 23 December after reports that an e-bike had struck a fence while travelling westbound along the path linking Lakeside Car Park and the Boating Lake car park. The incident is believed to have occurred between 7.15pm and 8pm.

The rider, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are currently described as life-threatening.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam footage or who may have witnessed the collision around the time it is believed to have occurred to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 505 of 23 December.”
