Ladysmith Road in Grimsby has been closed this afternoon following reports of an incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 4pm today, Saturday, 3 January, with an air ambulance landing nearby. The nature and severity of the incident have not yet been confirmed.
The road is currently closed between Weelsby Road and the northern end of Beverley Crescent, with cordons in place. Motorists and members of the public are being urged to avoid the area while emergency services continue to respond.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Please can motorists be aware of a road closure that is currently in place on Ladysmith Road from Weelsby Road up to the northern end of Beverley Crescent. This is to allow officers to work safely at an ongoing incident. Please avoid the area where possible.”
