‘State-of-the-art’ help points to be installed at Cleethorpes Train Station

Four new “state-of-the-art” help points are set to be introduced to Cleethorpes Railway Station.

TransPennine Express (TPE) said the existing units have reached the end of their operational life and must be replaced to ensure passengers can continue to access travel information, request assistance from staff and contact emergency services when needed.

The operator said the modernised upgrades are designed to improve passenger reassurance and enhance feelings of safety while travelling. TPE added that the design of the new help points has been carefully selected to complement the heritage of the Cleethorpes Central Seafront Conservation Area and the station’s listed status.

The proposals follow recent improvements at the station, including the installation of a new Changing Places toilet. Further plans are under consideration to refurbish the adjoining walkway and seating area.
