North East Lincolnshire Council is appealing for the public’s help to identify individuals caught fly-tipping over the Christmas period.
CCTV images have been released showing a number of men dumping rubbish in the middle of Castle Street and Corporation Road in Grimsby.
The incident on Castle Street took place on Saturday, December 20 at 4.53pm, while a separate incident occurred on Corporation Road on Thursday, December 25 at 5.13pm.
Councillor Henry Hudson, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Net Zero, said: “This type of behaviour is unacceptable. We have a zero tolerance policy on littering and fly-tipping.
“I urge anyone who has information on the identity of those pictured to come forward and help with the investigation. The actions of these potential fly-tippers has a negative effect on the landscapes of our borough.”
The council is now urging anyone who recognises the individuals or vehicle pictured to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call 01472 326299 or email communityprotection@nelincs.gov.uk.
