Entries have opened for the 11th instalment of the popular Ørsted Great Grimsby 10K.
The race will begin at 9am on Sunday, 7 June 2026, starting at Great Grimsby Town Hall and finishing in People’s Park. The flat course is suitable for runners of all abilities.
In previous years, the route has been lined with cheering spectators offering huge support — sometimes even hosepipes and drinks to help runners cool down. On the day, participants can also enjoy live music, bands, entertainment, three water stations, cheering zones and more.
A family fun run will also take place at 8.45am in the Victorian People’s Park. The approximately 1km route is suitable for all ages and abilities, including pushchairs and wheelchairs.
All participants will receive a bespoke 10K medal and cake at the finish line, with an optional sustainable event T-shirt also available.
Anyone wishing to take part can enter via the official event website.
Part of the Gi Grimsby News team since 2020.
