According to eyewitnesses, the incident at the two-story building, which is thought to be derelict, is the result of rubbish and furniture catching fire.

It is currently unclear if anybody was inside the building at the time.

Three fire engines are on the scene.

The road is closed between Hainton Ave and Heneage Road as as a result. Part of Heneage Road is also shut.
