BargeFest returns to Grimsby this weekend

Grimsby-based pub The Barge will welcome the return of its popular event, Bargefest this weekend, marking its first appearance in six years.

The event, which will take place on Saturday 30 August, and will feature live music from local bands, food and drink stalls, and a showcase of local traders.

It will also mark the first music-based festival held in the new-look Riverhead Square, with organisers aiming to deliver a day to remember for the community.

A spokesperson for The Barge said: “We are very excited to be back after 6 years with our Bargefest for 2025 and we have an amazing free lineup for the Community with local bands, local traders, local people, giving Riverhead Square its first big gig and it will be a day to remember.”

The full line-up of local acts include:

1:00pm – Jack Quickfall

2pm – Sound Vandals

3pm – Riverwolf

4pm – Lola and the Cosmic Getaways

5:10pm – Church of Lies

6:20pm – Electric Priestess

7:40pm – Yaz Band

9:15pm – Decoy
